What does Pegasus Exclusif smell like?
Released in 2020, Pegasus Exclusif extends one of Parfums de Marly’s bestsellers into a denser, woodier version at parfum concentration. The opening pairs cardamom, heliotrope, pink pepper and bergamot, already soft and almondy. In the heart, almond takes centre stage, underlined by lavender, geranium and jasmine for a result that is both gourmand and aromatic. The base is rich: vanilla, smoky guaiac wood, oud, sandalwood and amber, giving a darker depth than the original. The effect suggests almond pastry resting on a chest of precious wood, with remarkable longevity. The oud stays in the background, adding shadow rather than funk.
When to wear it
Wear it on autumn and winter evenings, for dinner or a date. It suits lovers of elegant woody gourmands.
