What does Palatine smell like?
Released in 2024, Palatine adds to Parfums de Marly's feminine collection a musky floral that is softer and sheerer than Delina. The opening is laden with fruit: pear, peach, mandarin and bergamot make a juicy, luminous entrance, velveted by the peach. The heart pairs violet and lavender, an unusual duo that combines violet's sweet powder with a cool aromatic touch. The base of musk, sandalwood, vanilla and patchouli lays down a clean-skin softness with a hint of woody depth. It suggests a pastel cashmere sweater and a basket of summer fruit: tender, bright and easy to love, without excess sugar.
