What does Percival smell like?
Released in 2018, Percival is one of Parfums de Marly’s most crowd-pleasing offerings, a clean scent designed for everyday wear. The opening is layered: lavender, mandarin, bergamot, geranium and pink pepper, aromatic and fizzy. The heart adds a floral, spiced touch with violet, jasmine, coriander, cinnamon and cardamom, all dosed lightly so nothing weighs it down. The base is thoroughly modern: ambroxan, amber woods, musk and tonka bean, leaving a smooth, luminous and long-lasting trace. Percival smells of clean laundry and freshly showered skin, with a note of polish. It rarely surprises, but it almost never offends.
