What does Jubilation XXV Man smell like?
Composed by Bertrand Duchaufour and released in 2007 to mark Amouage’s twenty-fifth anniversary, Jubilation XXV is one of the Omani house’s most complex masculines. The opening is dense and fruity: dark blackberry, incense, labdanum, orange and tarragon, both resinous and aromatic. In the heart, honey, guaiac wood, cinnamon, rose and orchid build a warm, spiced richness. Opoponax, oud, myrrh, patchouli and cedar in the base lay down a smoke of church and precious wood that lasts for hours. The result is baroque and deep, yet surprisingly balanced for all its richness.
When to wear it
Wear it on cold evenings and grand occasions. It suits lovers of incense and complex perfumes.
