What does Phantom smell like?
Phantom, launched by Paco Rabanne in 2021 in a robot-shaped bottle, leans into a technological imaginary. In scent terms, it is a modern aromatic fougère centred on lavender. Lemon and pink pepper give a bright, almost fizzy start before the lavender settles in. The heart adds crunchy apple, an unexpected smoky veil and a patchouli that slightly darkens the composition. In the base, where lavender resurfaces, vanilla and cashmeran make it soft and creamy, with an almost cottony texture. The result is a sweet, plush lavender designed for a generation used to gourmand fougères.
When to wear it
For everyday wear and relaxed evenings, especially in cool weather; it appeals to younger men who like soft lavenders.
