What does Blanche smell like?
Composed by Jérôme Epinette for Byredo, the Swedish house founded by Ben Gorham, Blanche arrived in 2009 with a simple idea: translate the purity of white into scent. The opening is aldehydic, sparkling and soapy, with pink pepper adding a spark. The heart gathers peony, violet and rose in a pale, powdery register with no opulence at all. The base of white musk, sandalwood and blond woods evokes freshly washed cotton, clean skin and taut sheets. Blanche shares the floral aldehyde family of the great classics, but in a stripped-back, almost minimalist version without the vintage heaviness. It smells clean in the noblest sense and is aimed at those who value discretion.

An everyday scent for the office or mild weather; it suits lovers of skin scents and clean-laundry accords.
