Released in 2018, 1 Million Lucky moves away from the original 1 Million to offer a brighter woody gourmand built around a surprising hazelnut. The opening is lively: tangy grapefruit, juicy plum and ozonic notes give a fruity, almost airy freshness. The heart brings toasted, slightly milky hazelnut, softened by honey and an orange blossom that lets in light. Cedar, amber and vetiver then add a dry woody structure that balances the sweetness. It suggests crunchy praline rather than heavy caramel, with a lighter sweetness than its predecessor. The hazelnut is what sets it apart, a note still rare in mainstream men’s perfumery.
