What does Tam Dao smell like?
Tam Dao, launched by Diptyque in 2003, takes its name from a mountainous region of Vietnam and pays homage to sandalwood. Daniel Molière composed a meditative woody scent. Resinous Italian cypress, aromatic myrtle and a very discreet rose open with a green, slightly spicy freshness. The heart is dominated by creamy, almost milky sandalwood supported by dry cedar. In the base, rosewood, soft spices, amber and musk create a hushed, lightly powdery warmth. It is a contemplative perfume, suggesting temple incense and freshly planed wood shavings. It rewards those who value texture over volume.

For everyday wear, the office or quiet moments; it appeals to lovers of soft, soothing woods of any gender.
