What does Dolce Vita smell like?
Launched by Dior in 1994, Dolce Vita answered the heavy orientals of the previous decade with golden optimism. The opening is sun-drenched, with velvety peach, bergamot and mandarin suggesting ripe fruit soaked in light. In the heart, rose and lily are pricked with warm cinnamon, a spiced detail that gives the scent its personality and recalls a fruit pastry fresh from the oven. The base of sandalwood, vanilla and cedar spreads a creamy, woody softness that stays luminous rather than dark.
