What does Colonia smell like?
Colonia is Acqua di Parma’s founding creation, born in Parma in 1916. More than a century on, it remains the textbook Italian cologne, bright and meticulously groomed. The opening is a flash of citrus: sharp lemon, fine bergamot and sweet orange. The aromatic heart blends lavender, rosemary and verbena, a clean, gently herbal greenery that gives the whole its distinction. Sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli sit quietly in the base but anchor the freshness on skin longer than a simple eau de Cologne would.
