What does Eros smell like?
Composed by Aurélien Guichard and launched by Versace in 2012, Eros embraces showy seduction without apology, from its Medusa-stamped turquoise bottle to its trail. The opening is electric: icy mint, tart green apple and sharp lemon form a freshness that verges on candy. The heart tips the balance as tonka, ambroxan and geranium lay down an ambery, mineral sweetness. The base of vanilla, vetiver and cedar extends the creamy effect with a woody footing that keeps it from turning into pure gourmand. The contrast of cold mint and warm vanilla is simple, legible and fiercely powerful; this is a scent designed to be noticed.
