What does Invictus Legend smell like?
Invictus Legend, launched by Paco Rabanne in 2019, takes the Invictus line into warmer, deeper woody-marine territory. Sea salt, grapefruit and bay leaf open with an aromatic, salty freshness. The heart brings a slightly rosy geranium and dry pepper. Smoky guaiac wood, amber and benzoin in the base create a resinous, almost balsamic warmth that contrasts with the fresh start. It evokes a beach at sunset, between salt and warm wood. Bay leaf, aromatic and slightly spicy, is what saves it from the anonymity of standard marine freshness, while the benzoin adds a vanilla-tinged, resinous softness that lingers well into the evening.
